Tranny Club Now Bar

In one of my previous stories, I mentioned I went to a “tranny” bar. I had just started wearing some girl clothes and didn’t have a big wardrobe. I searched online for places to buy clothes. Obviously, I can just walk into a women’s department store to buy clothes, and I do that today. But when starting out dressing, it’s scary! So I found some information online on a place called “Lee’s Mardi Gras” in the meat packing district. It was a tranny welcoming clothing place. This area was where gay and tranny’s frequented more during that age, I guess. When I got down there, I couldn’t find the entrance. It was supposed to go up an elevator or something and I couldn’t find the entrance. I looked around for quite a bit, and some meat guy kept looking at me, probably thinking I was fresh tranny meat. That trip was unsuccessful, but I continued to research it and found that Lee had passed away not that long ago from when to the store.

Eventually, my research led me to this tranny bar called Now Bar on the corner of Leroy St. and Seventh Avenue. I detailed the experience in another story already, about how there were trannies outside, and working girls inside. The more I dressed, the more I frequented this bar on Saturday nights. Each Saturday night, there would be lip syncing performances and people would throw dollar bills to the girl. It was fun. It was sexy. I hope to do a performance one day myself. I got hit on plenty of times here. One time, a man asked me to go upstairs with him. It was dim, but not pitch black. There were some cubbies and we sat in one of them. The faceless guy – I don’t remember what he looked like – too long ago – he dry humped me. Now, this place had working girls. Trannies. What do you think happens at these places??? Yet one of the party promoters would come around with a flashlight and not allow things to happen. And at least one night, they gave me a packet of goodies that included condoms! This night, the guy hitting on me was able to cum through dry humping me before he got in trouble. Afterward, we went back down, and I got hit on some more by other guys.

I never knew what happened to the bar or the woman running the show, Gloria Wholesome. I wonder if they got into trouble with the law or something. I don’t know how someone is pretty visible in the community throwing parties but then disappears. Looking online, I couldn’t find anything. Sometimes, I miss the old days, and would love to visit that bar again if it were to open again.
